As we mark the 150th birth anniversary year of Bhagwan Birsa Munda we celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas 2024 with a nationwide spirit of Jan Bhagidari (people’s participation). A whole-of-government approach will be adopted, featuring a series of events, exhibitions, cultural performances, and educational initiatives that highlight the legacy of tribal freedom fighters and the rich traditions of tribal communities across India.
